A Taste of South Australia

South Australia. With its diverse wildlife, stunning landscapes and exquisite produce, it’s little wonder people flock to this precious part of the world – and there’s no better time to visit the festival state than for a 10 day celebration of its produce and its people.

Tasting Australia, presented by RAA Travel, is the country’s premier eating and drinking festival, and this weekend Sophie catches up with renowned chefs and co-directors, Darren Robertson and Karena Armstrong ahead of the upcoming 2023 festival.

This year’s festival features something for everyone, with world-class chefs and more than 150 events across all 12 regions of South Australia, ranging from masterclasses to tasting tables and long lunches. Two of the highlight events include an intimate 20-seat Chef’s Table in Adelaide with some of the industry’s best culinary creators, and Tasting Australian Airlines, where guests get to fly in for once-in-a-lifetime dining and drinking experiences in the Flinders Ranges and Kangaroo Island!

Tasting Australia kicks off in South Australia on April 28th and runs until May 7th 2023.  With world-class food and some of the best wine, beer, gins and whiskeys in the world on show, Australia has never tasted so good!
