Cruising the South Pacific with Royal Caribbean

Cruising to the South Pacific with Royal Caribbean

Looking for a quick break from Brisbane?

Royal Caribbean offers eight nights at sea to the South Pacific onboard their world class cruise ship, Quantum of the Seas.

It departs Brisbane’s brand-new cruise terminal – and first stop is Mystery Island, the southernmost point of Vanuatu. Next is Port Vila in the north – then Noumea, the capital of New Caledonia – before returning home to Queensland on the ninth day.

For days at sea, there is plenty to do. From casual to fine dining… included in your fare are 10 restaurants… even pizza offered into the small hours – yep 24/7! And if that isn’t enough, there’s five other specialty restaurants you can book for an added cost:

  • Wonderland (which takes its inspiration from Alice in Wonderland)
  • Izumi (hand-made sushi, using fresh seafood)
  • Jamie’s Italian (handmade pasta & Lasagne)
  • Chops Grille (NY-style steak)
  • Chef’s Table (Yep – dinner with the head honcho of food!)

Once you’ve filled your belly, let Broadway-style shows, comedy, and karaoke do the entertaining. To get the adrenalin pumping, there’s skydiving at sea, rock climbing, Flowrider (surfing)– plus, a gondola that will take you more than 100 metres above sea level and extend over the side of the ship. You can book it for both day and night.

In fact, everything can be booked via the Royal Caribbean app. You can schedule your whole week aboard – and this can be done once you’ve secured your cruise.
