How to spend Christmas in the City of Ipswich

Christmas is just around the corner… so why not venture outside your ‘hood and experience something a little different this year?

There’s plenty to see and do in the City of Ipswich… and one way you can kick off the silly season is with something sweet.

Ungermann Brothers are the retro ice cream kings of Ipswich… and they’ve put a Christmas spin on their flavour range! Candy cane and Christmas pudding ice cream are on offer if you’re on Santa’s good list.

But if you’re not sure if you’ve been naughty or nice, you’ll soon find out at Seraphim Escape Rooms.

Combine festive fun with finding clues at Santa Cottage… the kids will love it.

‘Tis the season of overindulging… and not just with sweets, but dazzling decorations too! Residents go all out to win the annual Christmas Lights competition… one of our favourites was Mahogany Street in Raceview.

Also flying the festive flag is the brand-new Saint Nicholas Street Precinct. This dazzling display is on from Friday 10th to Sunday 19th December, in the heart of the City of Ipswich.

It’s only a 45-minute drive from the Brisbane CBD. Visit the Discover Ipswich website for more details.
