Relish Fraser Coast

Fraser Coast’s Relish Food & Wine Festival turns a big 10 years old on the 3rd of June – with lashings of fun and fabulous dining in the historic city of Maryborough.

Top chefs, including WEEKENDER’s own Alastair McLeod and Dan & Steph from Travel and EAT with Dan & Steph, will be strutting their culinary stuff with the best and freshest local produce from the Fraser Coast.

St Lawrence Wetlands Weekend

There’s more fine dining on the menu at the St Lawrence Wetlands Weekend, south of Mackay.

The small community puts on a big party from the 23rd to the 25th June– featuring great food, music and workshops celebrating culture and nature.

The long weekend also offers the chance to tour the local wetlands – one of Australia’s best bird-watching havens.

Cooly Rocks On

Groovers and greasers, dust off your dancing shoes for Australia’s best loved retro festival – as Cooly Rocks On hits the southern Gold Coast from the 7th to the 11th June.

Get your fix of cool cars, rockabilly fashion, great mid-century music and a parade of pelvis-swivelling Elvis tribute artists in performance.

The cooler months are with us – and that means the festival calendar is hotting up. Head online to It’s Live in Queensland and make your choice from a fantastic range of events right across this big, beautiful state.
