This year marks 20 years since the Roma Street goods yard was transformed into the iconic and beautiful Roma Street Parkland. It’s certainly a milestone and there’s no better time of year to celebrate than Spring!
The blooms are bound to be looking their finest and there’s a range of free community events and activations to mark the occasion!

The Sound Society
5th Relax and enjoy free live music, surrounded by beautiful blooms and green spaces.
Blooms & Tunes
11th & 12th September from 1 – 5 PM on Celebration Lawn. Enjoy live music and gourmet picnic hampers from the Garden Room Café.
Food trucks will be on-site too and for those of you who are organized, you’re welcome to bring your own picnic snacks.
Plant Lovers Market presented by Brisstyle
18th September from 9 AM – 1 PM on Celebration Lawn. There will be up to 30 market stalls, selling plants and accessories.
Kids Collective Holiday Program
Begins final week of September.
Guided Tours
Guided Tours are held throughout the week/weekend, with the schedule changing each month. Tours are approximately 1 hour in length and are led by a knowledgeable volunteer.
Spectacle Garden Spring Planting
The Spectacle Garden is a must-see in Spring and this year there’s a special surprise! In true Roma Street Parkland style, there will be a floral cake made up of around 2000 plants so make sure you have your camera at the ready.
