Condamine is a 4hr drive from Brisbane and as the song suggests, it is located on the Condamine River.
Condamine most famous for the ‘Condamine Bullfrog’ cowbell, a bell made from sheet metal that is used to locate herds of cattle. The town has a large bell in the main street that tells of the history of the bell.
Don’t forget to pack your rod! The Condamine River boasts great fishing spots to throw a line. Don’t worry if you’re not a fisherman, you can still enjoy the fish from a distance in the local freshwater fish farm or check out the feedlots with bookings taken from the Condamine Hotel.
