Tin Can Bay Dolphins

Tin Can Bay is on the Cooloola Coast, about a two and a half hour’s drive north of Brisbane. It’s a boating and fishing hotspot but, they’re not the only activities bringing visitors to this beautiful bay.

The bay is home to a visiting pod of Australian Humpback Dolphins – a rare and endangered species in Australia.

Barnacles Café and Dolphin Centre offers the unique experience of being able to get up close with these gentle mammals, whilst feeding them a fish or three! Once the dolphins are fed, we recommend refueling at the café and the best part is, dolphin feeders will receive a meal discount.

Tin Can Bay makes for a peaceful getaway or holiday escape. The Tin Can Bay Marina Villas are a great place to base yourself, with each villa offering uninterrupted views of the water.
