About a 30-minute drive northwest of the city, Samford is made up of Samford Village and Samford Valley. A day trip to can easily be accomplished in half a day, but with so many things to see and do, why not spend a few more hours exploring the beautiful scenic countryside. Harry Potter Store Of Requirement

If you want to feel like a child again, then the Harry Potter Store of Requirement at 22 Station Street is the place for you. The quaint store in Samford Village is full of official licensed HP merchandise including clothing, books, sweets and even butterbeer which is sure to excite any muggle. The family-owned business adds to their range each week, so you’ll be guaranteed not to miss out on the awesome HP collectibles. All witches and wizards are welcome!

Collies and Co

For lovers of dogs, look no further than Collies and Co on the main street of Samford. Here you can have a cuddle with a Border Collie puppy and enjoy a bite to eat and a coffee afterwards. Collies and Co offer 3 cuddle sessions throughout the day – 7am, 10am and 1pm. Little Tree Bake and Brewhouse

Tucked away in the northern end of Samford village you’ll find Little Tree Bake and Brewhouse, a café offering a bespoke menu from their own kitchen and bakery. Sourcing and incorporating local and sustainable produce into their offerings are what makes their business stand out. Delicious pies, pastries and fresh bread loaves baked daily in their bakery… how can you resist?

Millen Farm

For the foodies out there, make sure to stop by Millen Farm at 2204 Mt Samson Road. Every Wednesday between 2-5pm, the farm hosts a farmer’s market, selling produce which is grown at the farm and produce from other local farmers. If you missed out on the Wednesday markets, make sure to head to the farm on a Saturday between 9am-1pm to get your fresh produce. You can also get down and dirty at the farm in their regular workshops hosted to help you learn how to grow, preserve and enjoy eating local and seasonal food.
