The Prop House is an events theming company that was created by Jano Kotzas in 1995. It has been behind some of the state’s most colourful events, including the launch of North Lakes, Portside Wharf and the styling of the athlete’s village at the 2018 Commonwealth Games at the Gold Coast.
Jano started her working life selling ice creams at her family’s business, the iconic Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary. Her strong work ethic led her to create the Prop House at the tender age of 19, and the rest is history.
Jano is proud of her Brisbane background and excited for its future, with the 2032 Olympics Games on the horizon.
