Effervescence is Australia’s first festival celebrating fabulous French bubbles – and it takes place in the gentle countryside near Grandchester, about an hour’s drive from Brisbane.
Hosted on the beautiful rural property of Spicers Hidden Vale, the festival is a three-day immersion into the delights of French champagne – with guests enjoying a long weekend of masterclasses and long table feasts.
The festival’s final day is devoted to the Champagne Trail – where participants can sample up to 60 different drops from the best champagne houses and boutique growers. Wander through picturesque country scenery, sipping the finest French bubbles and sampling French food and local produce.
