Kooroomba Vineyard and Lavender Farm has captured the heart of southern France in the Scenic Rim, just a short drive from Boonah.
It boasts a vineyard, lavender farm, restaurant and cellar door. It’s popular with day trippers and Valentine’s Day is one of its biggest days of the year. It’s open Wednesday to Sunday each week.
A great spot for visitors to the Scenic Rim to stay is at the Grove Cottage. The cottage offers two lovely bedrooms, two bathrooms, a living room with the all-important wood fire, and a kitchen where guests will find a fresh breakfast basket.
Water colour art classes are also offered as well as a romance package which includes a 2 night minimum stay, a fresh breakfast basket, roses, chocolates and champagne.
