Spring is Nature’s way of saying out with the old and in with the new!
And there’s plenty of fresh and exciting reasons to be part of Toowoomba Carnival of Flowers – celebrating 75 big years in 2024!
The carnival takes over Queensland’s Garden City for the entire month of September.
This year, the Grand Parade is set to be even more spectacular – with plans to showcase the event’s history with 75 floral floats.
Meanwhile, 190,000 seedlings are quietly preparing to pop into petal – creating a riotous rainbow of colour across city parks and gardens.
Plus, this year, Queens Park will welcome the fabulous Queensland Symphony Orchestra for a special Symphony Under the Stars performance.
Other new events include Dinner Edit – where three top Toowoomba café and breaky haunts open for a one-off, after-hours curated feast.
The carnival’s 3-day Food & Wine Festival will feature a host of brilliant talent – from the kitchen and stage.
She of the fairyfloss mohawk, Anna Polyviou, will be a guest celebrity chef leading Farm to Fork demonstrations – including a pie-eating contest, among other sweet distractions.
There’ll be a feast of music too – with Kate Ceberano, Pete Murray, Thirsty Merc and James Reyne – rocking Toowoomba to its roots!
