| Nothing says Christmas on coast like the Gold Coast Mayor’s Christmas Carols! This joyous event that celebrates the most wonderful time of the year takes place at HOTA, Home of the Arts on Saturday 30th November. It’s a great opportunity to ring in the festive season with family, friends and a whole host of incredible music acts and performers.
Headlining the show this year is Budjerah. This ARIA award winning artist is no stranger to the coast region and is known for his hit song, “Therapy.” He has also collaborated with Ed Sheeran and supported him on his Australian tour. DAMI IM will also grace the stage, bringing her unique vocal talents and some Christmas classics to an incredible evening. It wouldn’t be a Christmas carols without a visit from Santa himself. He’ll be around the lake from 4pm for photos, but ol’ Saint Nick himself will take to the stage, along with a few friends from the North Pole, to perform some amazing numbers of his own. The Mayor’s Christmas carols is once again proudly presented by Village Roadshow Theme Parks. Not only are the assisting in bringing the event to life, but they’re giving some extra gifts of their own. The Looney Tunes from Movie World will visit the Carols for a meet and greet and then take to the stage to make the show a lot more Looney and Tuney!
