We’ve done all the digging for you to together a great itinerary for a couple’s weekend in Brisbane. There’s always something on the go in the River City so we figured it ticks all the boxes for a romantic rendezvous!
Getting there
If you’d like a no fuss way of arriving at your destination, Queensland Rail Travel is always a great choice! There are a number of different journeys you can choose from – depending on which direction you’re travelling from. If you’re en route from the west – then the Westlander is the way to go! Stay

Here’s a little tip to empress your loved one- head up to the 21st floor to enjoy the rooftop bar and infinity pool area! What to do?
We didn’t suggest South Bank for nothing! There’s always something happening around this buzzing green space. Why not appreciate the city views from a different angle from inside one of the Channel 7 Wheel of Brisbane gondolas? We suggest the Sky High Picnic Package which includes a bottle of bubbles and a few tasty snacks, to enhance your wheel experience.
If beer and pork knuckle is more your thing, then you can’t go past Munich Brauhaus on Stanley Street. It’s Oktoberfest all year ‘round here, so don on your lederhosen and enjoy your night!
