Peter and Gillian Gould run Cowboy Up Horse Trail Riding in Emu Creek, about an hour north of Toowoomba.
They have over 30 years’ experience in the industry during which, they’ve met a few famous faces. Peter had the pleasure of teaching Hugh Jackman and Nicole Kidman how to ride horses for Australia’s 3rd highest grossing film, Baz Luhrmann’s Australia.
Although Peter has had his brush with Hollywood fame, he still gets just as much enjoyment teaching a 10-year-old as he would Hugh.
There are a variety of trail rides to choose from through the picturesque working cattle property.
The town of Crows Nest is only a 30-minute drive away and it’s where you’ll find Anduramba Homestead. It’s the perfect spot to rest your head if you fancy a stay out in this neck of the woods.
