Australia’s Highest Ropes Course

Maroochydore and its surrounds on the Sunshine Coast are popular for their laid-back feel, white sandy beaches and beautiful national parks.

But it’s the things you don’t expect to find that really set Maroochydore apart. A great example is ‘Next Level’, Australia’s highest ropes course. It sits behind Sunshine Plaza and boasts seven circuits across four levels of difficulty.

There are 145 aerial obstacles and over 1 kilometre of zip lines, the longest stretching 135 metres. Anyone aged 6 and up can participate and tickets start from just $25.

If Next Level gets the heart rate up, then Soul Beach House at nearby Alexandra Headland is the perfect way to bring it back down again. It’s the perfect spot for a relaxed getaway and is just minutes from the beach.

The house can accommodate up to six guests and the beautiful interior design is sure to transport you to a quiet, calmer, soothing place. It’s the perfect base for a Sunshine Coast escape.
