Bareboating in the Whitsundays

The Whitsundays is one of those magical places that needs to be absorbed, rather than experienced. Swimming through its aquamarine waters, strolling along an empty island beach, or just taking in a sunset… however you choose to spend your time there, you’re bound to feel relaxed and rejuvenate
One of the best ways to take it all in is to skipper a bare boat. A bareboat is a fully furnished vessel that you can skipper yourself, no licence required! Everything you need to live comfortably is on board, including a BBQ, kitchen, and comfy beds.
If you need a bit of confidence behind the wheel, Go Bareboating offers skipper training to get you comfortable, or you can hire a skipper for the week.
Go Bareboating is also offering a special deal to Queensland Weekender viewers… mention the show and you’ll get a free stay aboard.
Conditions:
Charters starting from 1 May to 15 June 2017 – get a *free stay aboard (*for all new bookings)
You can get yourself settled on the boat and stay in the marina the night before your big trip – this means that you can spend the day exploring Airlie Beach, and then head out to open water early next morning. It means you’ll have more time to familiarize yourself with the boat and get to spend more time on water.
Boarding time is at 4:30 pm. If you arrive before 4:30 pm, you can store your bags in the office until boarding time. Only available at our charter base, Abel Point Marina, the night before your charter starts.
