The most anticipated event of the year in Western Downs has arrived – and it’s bigger and better than ever! You may know it as Big Skies, but for us its 10 days of showing off what this beautiful part of Queensland has to offer.
Whether it’s relaxing on a balloon ride over the breathtaking countryside of Dalby, or exploring an endless blanket of stars, Big Skies is all about showcasing the locally produced foods and fibres, handcrafted wares and artisan pieces, while rocking on with some of Australia’s greatest rock legends in the Western Downs region. This year, Big Skies ‘Day On The Plain’ will be held at the Jimbour Ampitheatre, featuring artists like Richard Clapton, Glen Shorrock, The Black Sorrows and many other rock ‘n’ roll performers from near and far.
