The City of Logan has scored a cultural coup for Queensland.
It’s the only place in the Sunshine State you can see the extraordinary exhibition Brett Whiteley: Inside the Studio, on now at Logan Art Gallery until 8th September.
The exhibition is drawn from the collection of Art Gallery New South Wales and the Brett Whiteley studio in Sydney – and celebrates the life and creative genius of one of Australia’s most significant and successful artists.
Tickets to the exhibition are free. Book online at LoganARTS.

Why not make a day of it in Logan?
For a dose of culture and history, head to the Kingston Butter Factory.
Once home to a thriving dairy industry, the building is now the centre of the city’s cultural crème de la crème… from recent history to cherished heritage museums to First Nations displays and community art exhibitions.
It’s also home to two entertainment spaces – indoor and outdoor – that have been awarded for their accessibility.
The Butterbox Theatre is a multi-purpose venue, perfect for community events and live entertainment. Troy Cassar-Daly will play at the venue in November as part of his album tour.
While you’re in the Kingston Butter Factory precinct, why not head to Devon Pixies?
This sweet worker’s cottage is home to a café that celebrates the lost art of high tea and traditional Devon Cream Teas.
There’s even a selection of fancy and pretty hats to wear while you enjoy a cuppa with friends.
Head to Explore Logan and discover art, history, culture and high tea – in one fell swoop.
