The Scenic Rim Clydesdale Spectacular celebrates the remarkable horses that are known as the breed that built the nation. In the 1800s, Scottish settlers moved here, bringing along their big, beloved horses to work the land.
The festival proudly celebrates 130 years of these gentle giants, with a jam-packed two-day event including demonstrations of amazing – and increasingly rare skills; wood chopping, billy-boiling, working dogs, whip cracking, and a chance to see these incredible heavy horses work as a team.

The most supreme exhibits from every royal show in Australia will be here to compete for a new trophy, the first of its kind in Australia.
