Dine with a view on the Gold Coast

The Gold Coast’s food scene is flourishing, and it has a trump card – real estate! Its culinary scene is one that’s served with a side of million-dollar views.

For the best burgers and shakes, head to Café D’Bar at the southern end of the coast at Coolangatta.  It offers casual seaside dining with panoramic views for breakfast and lunch daily.  Try the famous D’Bar burger with secret sauce!

Follow the coastline to The Burleigh Pavilion for prime wine-ing and dining. Two restaurants are on offer under the one roof:

The Pavilion is the more casual of the two, with wood-fired pizzas, burgers and beer-battered fish and chips.

The Tropic is more upmarket. Full service and a wonderful selection of dishes championing local produce, including the freshest Queensland seafood.

Postcard panorama views of the coast can be found at Videre on the 21st floor of RACV Royal Pines Resort.  Flaunting pretty plates of food, each one a work of art, it offers a choice of a la carte dining or a degustation menu with matched wines.
