Get excited – the Ekka is almost here! The country is getting ready to come to the city for the annual agricultural show and this year the RNA is promising more rides than ever before! Animals more your thing? 550 cute creatures like bunnies, sheep and puppies will be ready for pats in the nursery with a new goat mountain centre piece. For some prize winning poultry check out this year’s Brahma, 2024’s feature breed, standing at 45 centimetres tall. And stay after dark for EkkaNITES. Kris and Maddison from Flux Entertainment will wow you with their spectacular handheld pyrotechnic and fire show.
The RNA is offering some special deals this year cause – cozzie livs! Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday will all be Super Saver Days with 20 per cent off ticket prices. Every food vendor will offer a low cost menu item and discounted food and drink bundle deals. There will also be a new discount food outlet – the Ekka Tuckshop – which will feature a menu of hot food items priced at $5 and under.
