Sailing on board the Derwent Hunter feels like stepping back in time. The tall ship has a colourful history. She sailed Antarctic waters as Australia’s first oceanographic vessel in the 1950s and starred in the popular TV show “The Rovers’ in the 60s. Nowadays she sails the Whitsundays and gives visitors an incredible day trip experience.
