Exploring the Whitsundays

The Whitsundays region is famous for its natural beauty, resorts and access to the Great Barrier Reef. The region is easily accessible. It’s just a short flight to Proserpine and then it’s only a thirty-minute drive to Airlie Beach.

Airlie Beach is a great base for exploring the islands and a terrific resort to stay at is Mirage Whitsundays. It has amazing views on the water and spacious apartments, villas and penthouses. There’s also a day spa, gym and beautiful restaurant overlooking the water.

A popular activity in the Whitsundays is a kayaking adventure with Salty Dog Sea Kayaking. They offer fun, full day and half day tours.

A great way to unwind is with a few beers and fresh seafood at Northerlies Beach Bar and Grill. It also has a wine cellar and nautically themed bar.
