There’s plenty on for kids during school holidays on the Redcliffe Peninsula. The Moreton Bay Boat Club holds week long sailing camps for kids aged 7 and up. The school holiday camps run from 9am to 1pm each day and morning tea and lunch are provided. Better still, on the final day everyone’s invited to a BBQ presentation. Even the parents.
Sailing will be all the rage on Good Friday when Redcliffe holds its annual Sails Festival along Suttons Beach. The festival is one of the peninsula’s biggest days of the year and boasts more than a 150 gourmet food and market stalls, 2 stages with live entertainment, sand sculpting. Even a skydiving Easter bunny!
For those wanting to enjoy some middle eastern cuisine during the festival, then Pilpel By the Sea is a great option. The head chef even offers cooking classes for kids during school holidays.
