Mission Beach Croc Tour

Mission Beach is made up of four villages linked by 14 kilometres of wide golden beach. It sits half way between Cairns and Townsville. It’s a popular holiday destination for those wanting an adrenalin rush as well as those looking for a laid back holiday.

The Visitor Information Centre is a great place to start when in Mission Beach. It has volunteers who can answer any questions and point guests in the right direction.

A popular activity in Mission Beach is the Mission Beach Croc and Wildlife Tours. They depart from Hull River Boat ramp every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday at 4.30pm. They venture deep into beautiful world heritage listed rivers. Into croc country. They last three hours and drinks at sunset are included.

A great place to stay is the Eco Village Resort Mission Beach. It has a range of comfy self-contained bungalows that are just twenty metres from the beach. And it’s just a short walk to all the boutique stores and restaurants.

For RACQ members there are plenty of discounts to be found in the region including a 10% discount on admission to the incredible Paronella Park. Admission includes a souvenir guide book and map as well as a 45 minute guided walk around the property.
