| The 6 day Gulf Savannah Experience is a terrific way to explore north Queensland and to rediscover the romance of rail.
Queensland Rail Travel offers the package between the months of April and October. Guests begin their adventure in Normanton where they depart on the Gulflander to the town of Croydon. At Croyden they are transferred to Cobbold Gorge. It’s a beautiful gorge and guests stay the night in ensuite cabins and can enjoy Cobbold’s pool, bar and restaurant. Another highlight of the tour is a night at the Undara Experience. Here guests can tour the largest lava tubes in the world.
