Originally a Grafton girl, Jess Skarratt has happily made the Sunshine State her adopted home – and loves nothing better than sharing the best of Queensland. She’s blown away by the diverse landscapes of the state and the easy-going (and sometimes eccentric) characters who call it home.
Her warmth, cheeky humour and vivacious personality endear Jess to everyone she meets ‘on the road’ – as well as viewers who’ve followed her Channel 7 lifestyle adventures on their screens for more than 13 years.
Jess is a self-confessed water baby who calls the Gold Coast home, along with her young family. A career highlight was working at the 2018 Gold Coast Commonwealth Games as stadium host for the Opening and Closing ceremonies. In fact, sport is an enduring passion for Jess. She’s worked with many sporting organisations, including a long-time role with the Gold Coast SUNS AFL Club as Game Day television host.
Jess brings boundless energy, a big heart and her own joyous and exuberant brand of presenting to WEEKENDER.
