Mothers Day in Redlands Coast

Even though Mother’s Day is just around the corner, everyday should be a day we think about spoiling our Mums. And if you’re looking for some great ideas, then the Redlands Coast has plenty of options, all within striking distance of one another.

A great place to start is at the Redlands Coast Visitor Information Centre. Friendly staff are on hand to make your visit to the region an unforgettable one.

For many, a cup of coffee is a good way to kick start an adventure, so you’d be wise to head to River City Coffee Roasters. It was started by Chris Hindes, who started his roasting career at home in his spare time. Nowadays he runs one of the most popular coffee hangouts on the coast. Visitors can enjoy coffee appreciation courses, home barista training and ‘cupping’.

For a hearty meal, you can’t beat the nearby Coconut Coffee House. It prides itself on its ‘vintage beach’ vibe, its family friendly atmosphere and incredible, wholesome food.

To express your artistic side, then why not enjoy a workshop at Carys Martin Ceramics. Carys offers evening classes and workshops that are ideal for those wanting some well-deserved time out. Carys beautiful art can be purchased at her store in the studio, or from her website.

Finally, a wonderful way to unwind is at City Cave Float and Wellness Centre. They have a range of treatments that include infrared saunas and massage. Their most unique treatment is ‘float therapy’. It involves lying in a pool filled with 400kgs of salts so that you float effortlessly in the water. The water is warmed to body temperature, putting you into a total state of relaxation.
