This year, the Scenic Rim Eat Local Week is celebrating its 10th birthday with 125 events across 48 locations in one of Australia’s most stunning regions.
The famed food bowl is playing host to the country’s most authentic food festival which boasts farm-gate events and a multitude of culinary experiences.
Some of the highlights include a ‘sensory experience’ at Tamborine Mountain Coffee Plantation that includes a tour of the plantation and an education coffee making workshop.
At the brand new North Stores at Tamborine Mountain, Scenic Rim food ambassador Brenda Fawdon will be hosting a BBQ and offering guests picnic lunchboxes that they can enjoy at their leisure.
An event that’s sure to be a favourite is the ‘Decade of Delicious Dinner’. It’s on June 19, under the stars at Beechmont. The 10-course menu was created by 8 of the best local chefs and it’s going to be unforgettable. So book your tickets fast!
