South Burnett Long Weekend

Kingsley Grove Estate was created by Patricia and Michael Berry. They had a love of Europeans wines so they went back to university later in life to study viticulture and opened their own winery in the South Burnett, just outside of Kingaroy

Today Kingsley Grove Estate offers a range of wines that are popular with visitors to their cellar door. There, guests can also enjoy wood fired pizzas and wine flavoured ice cream.

A great place to stay whilst in the South Burnett is Hillview Cottages Bed and Breakfast. It boasts a lovely range of fully self-contained cottages. They ooze charm and history. There’s the original Memerambi church that was built in 1912 that’s a favourite with couples on romantic getaways. The Dairy used to be, you guessed it! And it has two bedrooms which makes it perfect for families. The Cottage, which was built in the 1940s, has the best views of the three, thanks to its large verandah.

Hillview Cottages will be a great base for exploring the wineries and eateries of the South Burnett during the South Burnett and Cherbourg on Show Long Weekend. It’s on from the 30th of September until the 3rd October. Entry is free!
