Stay & Play in Hervey Bay

You’d like a beach holiday without the crowds? We’ve found it.

Hervey Bay is a seaside paradise that’s lovely and quiet but with just enough going on.

Located three-ish hours from bustling Brisbane, and a lot more chilled.

The waters of Hervey Bay are protected by K’gari so they are lovely and calm. Completely safe for children.

Dining options are endless on the waterfront. Salt Café is a wonderful option if you’d like to sample some of Hervey Bay’s finest scallops. It’s great for cocktails too. It’s open during the sunshine hours for breakfast and lunch.

Where to stay? Look no further than Discovery Parks, a secluded oasis in Hervey Bay. Pull up a caravan, pitch a tent, or check into a cabin or safari tent. There are 8 acres to stretch out in. Feeding the turtles and ducks in the lagoon is a fun highlight!
