Long-nosed fur seals are one of the world’s cutest and most common species. Naturally ranging from New Zealand, down to the sub-Antarctic Islands and across much of Australia’s southern and eastern coastline, a small colony can be found on the Sunshine Coast, including at SEA LIFE.
They’re arguably the most mischievous mammals of their kind to exist and now you can swim with them!
Join SEA LIFE’s seal swim six out of seven days a week, or their famous seal presentation daily at 10.30am, 12.30pm and 2pm.
Or if you’re feeling daring, SEA LIFE also offer the chance to dive and swim with the sharks! It’s the Sunshine Coast’s only cage-less diving experience where you are guaranteed an underwater encounter with enormous Grey Nurse Sharks, which range up to 3 metres, plus other local marine life.
With no previous diving experience required, the Shark Dive Xtreme is suitable for first-time divers. Just bring a little confidence… or maybe a lot!
