Now in its seventeenth year, Tasting Australia is the longest running food and wine festival of its kind in the country. Designed to show off the regions and produce of beautiful South Australia, the festival has heaps of incredible events featuring chefs from Australia and around the world.
The focus of the festival is the Town Square in Adelaide, where people can go to hosted events or just drop in and taste some of the gorgeous food on offer. But there are also events across all twelve regions of the state, including plane trips to the Eyre Peninsula and the Lime Stone Coast, and even a train event departing from Melbourne.
At the heart of the festival is the truly wonderful produce from the coast and paddocks of South Australia. We’re talking green lipped abalone, southern rock lobster, wagyu beef and a mind-blowing range of fresh fruit and vegetables. And that’s just for starters. Put that in the hands of some of the most creative and respected chefs in the world and magic starts to happen.
This year’s festival runs from May 3rd – May 12th, 2024, so make sure you get along!
