With the recent cancellation of the Ekka for the second year in a row, Brisbane locals Mark and Kathryn Lang from Lang’s Gourmet decided they wanted to help.
Lang’s Gourmet make a range of jams, sauces, relishes, chutneys and mustards. And they focus on Queensland ingredients.
Using strawberries that were destined to be used in the Ekka’s famous strawberry sundaes, Mark and Kathryn used them to create a special range of Ekka strawberry jam. The jam has been a huge hit, with part of the profits going to the Ekka and the Prince Charles Hospital Foundation.
