Taabinga Homestead is all that remains of the once vast Taabinga Station, which was a large cattle property in what we now call the South Burnett.
Taabinga Homestead is one of Queensland’s oldest continuously lived in rural home and the same family has owned it since 1887.
Visitors are welcome to stay in historic cottages which are fully self-contained and are ideal for families and couples. During their stay, visitors can explore the many historic buildings that still remain including the blacksmith’s shop and the old dairy.
Visitors can also visit Taabinga to enjoy their regular music events which take place in the music hall as well as the homestead. The next scheduled event is a piano trio on the 19th June.
