The Spooky Past of Glengallan Homestead

The term “boom and bust” is one that is perfect for Glengallan Homestead. The beautiful building sits on a hill a little while down the New England Highway from Warwick. Originally the home of the locally famous Deucher family, up until 2001 Glengallan sat in disrepair.

Now returned to its former glory, the homestead is open to the public, allowing you to wander through the historic rooms and immerse yourself in local history. And if you’re into going-ons of the supernatural kind, Glengallan has you covered. Stories of ghost owls and mummified cats all await you behind these historic doors.
