The Taste of South Burnett

From the B&Bs to wine trails and tours, there are so many things to see and do in the South Burnett region. A great way to navigate this stunning area is by using the new visitor information centre app from Tourism and Events Queensland. It automatically locates where you are and lets you know where the closest visitor information centre is – anywhere in Queensland.

A popular place to visit when in the South Burnett is Pottique Lavender Farm, where owners Annie and Lindsay McBride use their love of lavender to inspire everything they do. It’s only 7 minutes out of town and guests could be forgiven for thinking that they’ve arrived in the south of France.

For visitors wanting to sample some of the local produce all under the one roof, Taste South Burnett is definitely worth a visit. It’s a one-stop-shop for buying and tasting a whole range of local delicacies.

Just a short trip from Kingaroy’s town centre are the tranquil Mulanah Gardens B&B Cottages, which is yet another jewel in the crown of the South Burnett. These luxurious cottages are surrounded by stunning grounds and have amazing views over the countryside, all the way to Bunya mountains.
