Tilt Train to Bundy

Queensland Rail Travel’s Tilt Train is a great way to explore the coast between Brisbane and Rockhampton. The Tilt Train fleet carries more than 180,000 passengers a year, at speeds of up to 160 kilometres per hour.

Passengers can choose from economy and business classes. In business class, guests receive a complimentary orange juice and have hot meals delivered to their seats.
Bundaberg is a beautiful regional city that’s the gateway to the Southern Great Barrier Reef.

A popular attraction in town is the Bundaberg Rum Distillery. The distillery has recently opened its brand new museum, featuring a multi-million dollar upgrade. The distillery also offers a ‘Blend Your Own Rum Experience’ where guests can craft their own tipple and take it home with them. The experience is available on weekends and early bookings are recommended.

A great place to stay when visiting the ‘Bundy’ region is Kelly’s Beach Resort. It’s a short drive from Bundaberg’s CBD and an easy stroll from Bargara village. The resort sits one block from the beach and offers self-contained accommodation with all the features to keep a holidaying family happily entertained.
