For 72 years, the Toowoomba Carnival of Flowers has been a 10-day festival celebrating everything ‘spring’.
But this year, the carnival is doing things a little differently. In 2021, the carnival will bloom for the whole month of September!
The exciting program of events includes the Grand Central Floral Parade and a 3-day Festival of Food and Wine at Queen’s Park. Visitors to the festival can pre- order food hampers and enjoy live music in the park.
Another stellar event will be ‘High Cheese’. Held on September 4th, it will be hosted by celebrity chef and ‘Weekender’ presenter, Alastair McLeod. The event will showcase spectacular produce from the Lockyer Valley and Toowoomba regions. Think of it as a high tea – with a twist!
The Toowoomba Carnival of Flowers begins on the 1st of September and runs through the entire month.
