What’s on in the City of Ipswich – Earth Frequency Festival

Once a year, the City of Ipswich welcomes people from far and wide to a 4-day festival in Ivory’s Rock. Earth Frequency Festival is a gathering, unlike many others!

Across 4 days in February, festival-goers will experience multi-faceted entertainment across 5 stages, but it’s not just about the music. This festival also celebrates art, culture, family and community.

Festival Director, Paul Abad is proud of the festival he and many others have created. “I see festivals like this as a bit of an antidote for the stresses of modern life.,” explained Paul. “It’s a chance to get out of the daily routine get out of the city and just be surrounded by music, art, inspiration, beautiful people, make new friends. So really, I hope they leave feeling more relaxed, more happy, more in love with life and more connected,” he said.

Festival-goers can also enjoy interesting market stalls, workshops, a frequency village, family realm and more.

This is the largest festival of its kind in Australia and it’s right here in South-East Queensland. If you’re day-tripping from Brisbane, it’s just under an hour’s drive from the CBD. Alternatively, if you plan to make a weekend of it, a range of camping options are available. Tickets are already for sale via the Earth Frequency website.

This is just one of the many great festivals and events on offer in the City of Ipswich. For more to see, eat and do, visit Discover Ipswich.
