Behind the scenes at the Airlie Beach Festival of Music

Set on the edge of the Coral Sea at the Whitsunday sailing club, The Airlie Beach Festival of Music is one of the best boutique music festivals in the country.

It’s located in the town of Airlie Beach at the heart of the Whitsundays and the Great Barrier Reef. With jaw-dropping views from the main tent almost surrounded by the Coral Sea, it’s a party in a tropical paradise. Only here can you see 74 bands alongside 74 islands in the heart of the Great Barrier Reef.

Festival-goers attend three “main marquee” concerts and experience over 200 musicians performing in 18 beach-side venues around this fun-filled holiday town.
