WhatsUP Cairns

There’s something to be said about the healing nature of the ocean; sure, rising before the crack of dawn isn’t everybody’s cup of tea, but when you have the payoff a stunning sunrise and being one of the few to enjoy it, why wouldn’t you?

We recently joined Allie from WhatSup Cairns for a morning paddle – and wasn’t it a delight. A relaxing way to start the day at the doorstep of the Great Barrier Reef.

Be on the lookout for the abundant wildlife including turtles, manta rays, sting rays, shovelnose sharks and dolphins to name but a few. Lap the Island or relax and snorkel around the fringing reef. This is one not to be missed while visiting FNQ!

Tours Depart at 6am from Buchans Point most Saturday mornings.
