Jim’s Jerky is sold Australia wide and operates in Charlton, just west of Toowoomba. It was created by Jim Tanner who bought the local butcher shop from a South African who was also dabbling in biltong and jerky.
Jim was instantly hooked on the taste and tossed in the butchery side of the business to focus on what was to become ‘Jim’s Jerky’.
To help was down Jim’s many flavours of jerky, Toowoomba will soon be hosting its annual beer festival, Brewoomba 2016. It’s taking place on 6th August at the Spotted Cow and various other pubs and hotels around the city.
