Australia’s premier new music festival is on the horizon, and it is almost time for music lovers to unite in Brisbane’s Fortitude Valley for four days of boogieing. From the 4th to the 7th September, the Valley will be transformed into a music hub, with 18 stages set up to host Australia’s best new artists.

Now in its’ 17th year, BIGSOUND can be credited as being the launchpad for many successful careers, such as Tash Sultana, Flume, The Temper Trap and Gang of Youths. Many of 2017’s acts have gone on to see great success. Brisbane-based singer-songwriter Hatchie, appeared in the line up last year and has since soared to great heights, with her song Try becoming a viral hit on Australian radio. This year, there will be 150 up and coming bands performing at the festival, staking their name in BIGSOUND history and on music lover’s playlists.
