Brisbane City is Open for Business

Brisbane city is usually a hive of activity, but recent months have seen the streets a little quieter. The good news is that we are slowly coming out of hibernation so for those who’ve been itching to get out on the town, now’s the time to do it!

A little dose of history: 

The Museum of Brisbane is located on Level 3 inside our grand City Hall. The doors to the gallery have been temporarily closed but they will be reopening on Friday, 17th July. As the gallery gets set to welcome guests again, they’ve also conjured up some exciting new offerings.  

Come July, the Museum of Brisbane will be launching their Heritage Walks, which bring to life Brisbane’s vibrant art, culture and history. Get on your walking shoes and hit the streets to rediscover Brisbane through a new perspective. These tours are perfect for a family day out, date night on the weekend or a fun afternoon with your friendsWhether you’re interested in Brisbane’s history, art and architecture, or true crime stories, there is a themed walking tour to suit everyone.  will bring Brisbane’s vibrant art, culture and history to life.
