Chinchilla is the ‘Melon Capital’ of the world. Every second year in February the town throws one of the craziest festivals around. Experience melon skiing, melon iron man, melon bungee, melon bullseye, pip spitting and melon tossing – to name a few!
Visitors for the festival have various accommodation options in town, including Chinchilla Tourist Park. BYO holiday home and set up camp on a powered site, making use of the camp kitchen and camp fire pits. There’s also a swimming pool, parklands and 100 seat dining room.
