Beautiful Bush For Everyone to Enjoy

With three beautiful bushwalks, it’s easy to see why Indigiscapes is a popular destination on the Redlands Coast. Situated on 14 and a half hectares, it’s the perfect place to immerse yourself in our native flora and fauna. But there is one thing that makes this spot extra special; that it can be accessed by anyone.

All three trails are wheel-chair accessible, and comfortable for mums with prams, and elderly visitors. It is also a quiet spot, which is loved by guests who experience sensory overload. Man’s best friend can even come along for the trip, as long as they’re kept on a lead.

If you’re extra keen to learn a thing or two about this incredible place, why not book yourself in for a tour? An expert guide will take you through, teaching you all about the wildlife and scenery. Tour guide Cath taught us about the native Sheoak Tree. Unlike other trees, it doesn’t have big leaves, instead it has small branches with little needly segments.

The highlight of our tour was the 400-year-old Tallowwood tree. This tree was struck by lightning around 200 years ago and survived. A tour takes about an hour and ends in the Indigicafe with a coffee and a cake. Just visit the Indigiscapes website to learn more.
