In the mid-19th century, Paris was swept by a radical and shimmering new art form called Impressionism.
Now, a whole new generation is discovering the genius of artists like Cezanne, Renoir, Degas and Monet at Monet in Paris – a multi-sensory extravaganza of light, sound and scent celebrating those grand Masters of Light.
The show is on until early August at Brisbane’s Northshore in a purpose-built venue called Le Grand Palais.
Using immersive technology, visitors will find themselves surrounded by 3,000 of the greatest artworks in the world – including Degas’ ballerinas, Renoir’s Paris streets and Monet’s magical waterlilies.
You can also enjoy a myriad of other experiences at Monet in Paris, including high teas, painting workshops and getting your selfie portrait transformed into an impressionist masterpiece.
