Professional sailor, Mark Bradford shares his favourite thing to do on a weekend in Queensland and that’s hitting Moreton Bay to go sailing.
“Sailing and boating is a passion that you need to try and instil in your kids. It’s about family and getting away on the weekend together. In South East Queensland, there’s so many places to get on the water – just in Moreton Bay. People live here and don’t realise what we’ve got with regards to beaches and little islands and moorings with Moreton and Stradbroke Islands. There are some really great places to go and spend a week at the northern end of South Stradbroke. I think the Southern End of Moreton Bay is as good as anywhere. People try to get into Hamilton Island and the Whitsundays but if you don’t have time, have a look down here.”
