Out of This World… in Ipswich

If you have stars in your eyes, you’ll love the ‘out of this world’ activities on offer in the City of Ipswich.

Start at The Workshops Rail Museum which is currently hosting the “Australia in Space” exhibition.

There are multiple interactive displays where you can learn about life on the International Space Station; track satellites in real time; even have your photo taken ‘floating in space’.

Your ticket also gives you access to the exhibition at Cobb & Co Museum in Toowoomba, where you’ll discover even more space displays.

For those who prefer to do their stargazing outdoors, Spicers Hidden Vale offers an amazing Sunset Stargazing 4WD Tour. Traverse some of the property’s beautiful 12,000 acres of country before arriving at stunning lookout, taking in most of Yuggerra country from Toowoomba to Brisbane.  Enjoy a gourmet picnic dinner, sparkling wine and a guided stargazing experience with Activities Manager, Steve “Croc” Turnbull.

And you don’t have to be an in-house guest at the resort to take part. The tour is available to day visitors too.
